PUPPETWARP

“PuppetWarp” is a collaboration between Pieter Schoolwerth, Aaron Dilloway and myself.  PuppetWarp composes delirious narrative videos out of digital assets purchased online.  These looping animations present moving images of the 3D files used by Schoolwerth to create paintings.

Conflating the rigged skeleton of a 3D model with technological infrastructure, layers of the human figure are depicted as distorted, peeling off the physical body, dramatizing the contemporary split of public and private life in an augmented age of performative identity construction.
